Foodies For A Cause is a social service organization at Texas A&M built around food — volunteering with local food banks, raising money for hunger-relief organizations, and learning what food means across culture, history, and science.
FFAC pairs hands-on service with a genuine love of food. We volunteer, we fundraise, and we learn — then we get together to enjoy the thing that brought us here in the first place.
Members work directly with food banks and hunger-relief organizations across Bryan-College Station.
We run fundraisers — bake sales and more — that put real dollars behind organizations like the BV Food Bank and Feed the Valley.
Every meeting looks at food from a new angle: other cultures, food history, the science of cooking, and food marketing.
Hands-on sessions where members build real kitchen skills and try new recipes together.
Regular potlucks and cookouts bring the group together to share food and build community.
We check out fun, local food joints around Bryan-College Station as a group.
Whether you want to volunteer, fundraise, cook, or just eat good food with good people — there's a place for you at FFAC.
